The Office of the Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, ably chaired by Hon. Suleiman AbdulRazak, proudly congratulates His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the affirmation of his election by the gubernatorial election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja yesterday.

In a statement released today, 28th May, 2024 the Majority Leader expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Governor, describing the tribunal’s decision as a victory for democracy and a true reflection of the will of the good people of Kogi State.

“The tribunal’s verdict has reaffirmed the trust and confidence that the people of Kogi State have placed in our Governor, H.E Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and our great party, APC. His dedication to the development and progress of our state is commendable, and we are confident that under his continued leadership, Kogi State will achieve greater heights,” the Majority Leader stated.

The Majority Leader also commended the judiciary for upholding justice and ensuring that the will of the people prevailed. He urged all citizens and stakeholders to unite and support the Governor in his efforts to bring about sustainable development and prosperity in Kogi State.

“We must all come together, irrespective of our political affiliations, to work towards the common goal of advancing our state’s development agenda. With the Governor’s visionary leadership, we are poised to make significant strides in various sectors,” he added.
